Town meeting; Ward walk; Playground meeting on 9/15

  • Correct phone number. Please note that two digits in my phone number were reversed in the Cheverly newsletter for September 2021. The correct number is (301) 875-7498. Thankfully, folks have been reaching out to me through the Ward 4 Councilmember e-mail, at CMWard4@cheverly-md.gov.

  • Ward 4 walk. This morning the Mayor, Town Administrator Galloway, and I took a walk through parts of Ward 4, to observe and discuss aspects of the physical environment that need to be addressed, including a number of things Ward 4 residents have brought to my attention. (Pic below)

  • Woodworth Park Playground: meeting 9/15 at 7 PM, virtually. This is a small playground on Wayne Place at the corner of Cheverly Park Drive, and it includes an entrance to Woodworth Trail. Residents had complained about the physical condition of the playground; this meeting is to get input on how the park can be redesigned. If you want to have input, please sign up to receive the Zoom link to the meeting.
